YES, I know I neglected my poor blog yesterday, I shall compensate for that neglect TODAY. With Diablo 3 STILL trending on twitter, I shall blog about Hayao Miyazaki's, Spirited Away (2001), creations.

First up is Haku in his dragon form, if you've yet to see Spirited Away... it's only one of the BEST animated films ever released!

And where would this list be without the big headed, old witch Yubaba.

Talk about having a BIG voice!

Next up is the iconic Forest Spirit from Princess Mononoke, which might actually be my favourite Miyazaki animated feature.

Yet another flawless shot.

No, I don't have a SUPER strange foot fetish! I simply wish to capture the many facets of this silent and enigmatic creature.

This film is bursting at the seams with creativity. Check out these adorable wood spirits.

How can such noseless creatures be so darn cute!?

Here comes the WOLVES.

Our little princess may hang with the wolves, but she sure is catty!

Ashitaka, our melancholy hero, would be very restricted without his deer Yakul. See what I did there?

That's my deer, hehe.

My inner love for creepy things would never forgive me if I don't include this CURSED boar-god.

Sometimes, I do wonder how I can live with myself...

Okay, that's a wrap for Princess Mononoke; time to explore Howl's Moving Castle.

This is, of course, Howl.

Lucky girl, ain't she?

At last, Howl's Moving Castle.

P.S. This list may be long, but it barely captures a tiny fraction of Miyazaki's genius. Love y'all.

  1. GHIBLI STUDIO IS MY TOP FAVOURITE!!
their stories not only relate to children, but in relation to our world as well

you should watch "ponyo on the cliff by the sea", it is a beautiful piece of work (mainly for children though)!
